Hiya!!!
Yesterday Aug. 26th afternoon I was at our house composing some stuff for my band while my wife was having a little “siesta” in the “sofa” and watching the Olympic Games, the conquest was the qualifications for women artistic gymnastic (you know, anorexic little women that trainers do not allow to grow doing things with balls and rings and other stuff while a music is played)
I was with my headphones working with the computer and I had a little look to the TV, and I said: “Wow, the first team with ‘real’ women…and very beautiful ones….” And it appeared : BRAZIL. “Of course!!!” I thought
But my surprise was that, almost they started, my wife started to make signs to me like saying “Get outta those fucking headphones and listen!!!!!”
The brazilian women were doing an artistic exercise with the first song of the original soundtrack from the film “No coraçao dos deuses” (“In the heart of the gods”, soundtrack by André Moraes, Igor Cavalera and Andreas Kisser) named “O desconhecido”…(fuck, every fucking Sepultura fan that still doubts on them should give a listen to this soundtrack to understand that actually Sepultura as musicians are outside the considerations of good an evil, hehehehehe….)
And I said: fucking great, amazing!!!!! It’s a great song, in fact our band has used it as intro for shows at big venues, kinda gives you a “majestuosity” status.
So I ended the afternoon very happy!!!! |

That's pretty cool actually (I thought you were gunna say Paulo and Derrick were spotted at the gymnastics or something, lol). A lot of the tunes from that album would be really good for gymnastics. A friend of mine who does rhythmic gymnastics keeps bugging me to make up a CD of metal instrumentals, but I'm lazy y'know.  |

Best description of gymnastics I've heard!
It is kinda cool that the Brazillian team would do that, chose a piece of music from their own nation to work to. Even though I don't doubt Sepultura as musicians (they're the only metal band that my dad is talking about coming with me to see, and I've heard him jamming out to Chaos AD) but I've yet to hear No Coraçao Dos Deuses. I need to get it once I get a little piece of money together. |

| The floor gymnastics to something like From the Past Come the Storms, or Beneath the Remains would have been a hectic schedule, would have rocked though, hehe. |

If P and D were spotted at the Olympics, it probably would be at the Beach Volleyball venue.
Hehe P and D... I just had an idea. We should print them t-shirts with the first letter of their name and make them wear them on stage. P, D, A and I... They'd look like geeks. That'd make great pics. |
